Roman Style Street Pizza

Rione XIII, Seattle

Raised in the Chicagoland area, I know that talking about pizza can be a battle! Let’s face it, Chicago and New York have the best! That said, each city has their little gems and Rione XIII is one of ours.

Rione XIII provides a more intimate style experience good for 2-4 people, haven’t seen larger tables of folks when I’ve been there. Great spot to bring a few folks for awesome food or just yourself with a seat at the bar (which I’ve done many times).

The restaurant is located in Capital Hill on 15th St. Nice walk-able area with a cool tech/gadget coffee a few buildings down. If you want to eat and take a walk, stroll down to Volunteer Park. There you can check out the conservatory and Seattle Asian Art Museum.

I say this all the time… If a restaurant can take the most basic dish and perfect it, you have a great restaurant. Their simple and amazingly delicious Margherita pizza will knock your socks off. Give it a try!
